Other Benefits Include: · Health, Dental & Vision Insurance · Life Insurance · Health Savings Account with Employer Match · 401(K) with Employer Match · Access to Earned Wages Daily · Employee Assistance Program · Paid License Renewal Fee As Education Coordinator/Infection Preventionist (RN – Registered Nurse), you will: · Direct and provide orientation for new employees · Work with the clinical staff during orientation to ensure effective onboarding for Nurses and CNAs · Coordinate, conduct and validate completion of competency checklist for all nursing staff upon hire, annually, and, as needed · Conduct patient care rounds daily to assess educational and clinical needs of the nursing staff · Assist in the development of the non-eLearning annual education plan for the center · Be responsible to the implementation of the Center’s Infection Prevention and Control Program

Requirements

  • Current RN license in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions
  • Three years’ experience in long-term care with experience as a Nursing Leader
  • Exceptional clinical skills including IV Therapy
  • Solid understanding of federal and state regulations for long-term care
  • Have a functional knowledge of Excel

Responsibilities
