About The Position
Education and Outreach Managers are responsible for overseeing the development, delivery, administration, and evaluation of educational programs to various groups, including schoolchildren, visitors, teachers, and other program participants. They demonstrate mastery in their specialty area, normally signified by an advanced degree, or significant equivalent experience. They are responsible for the same duties as an Education and Outreach Specialist, however, they operate with additional authority, independence, or level of complexity. Education and Outreach Managers are accountable for the success of the educational programs they oversee, and ensure that these programs fulfill the overall goal or vision of the organization.
