About The Position

The Education and Cultural Manager of the Copper Mountain Foundation (CMF) will oversee the organization's educational and cultural initiatives, promoting programs aligned with The Tatitlek Corporation’s mission. This role requires a dedicated leader with a passion for education, cultural preservation, strategic vision, and strong management skills. About CMF: The Copper Mountain Foundation (CMF) is the educational arm of The Tatitlek Corporation, dedicated to supporting cultural preservation, education, and career advancement for the well-being of the Tatitlek Corporation Shareholders. CMF focuses on creating impactful educational programs, providing scholarships, and fostering partnerships that enhance educational and cultural preservation outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of management experience in nonprofit management, education, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in strategic planning and implementation.
  • Strong fundraising and grant writing abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and enhance current programs, including Scholarship programs (youth grants, career grants, College Scholarships, vocational scholarships).
  • Build partnerships to create opportunities for shareholders.
  • Execute traditional arts programs such as Native Arts Classes, Tatitlek Cultural Heritage Week, and activities at the Kelly House Center, a community center leading activities in the village of Tatitlek.
  • Support fundraising efforts, including grant writing, donor cultivation, and fundraising events.
  • Assist in managing the organization’s budget, ensuring financial stability and transparency.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and pursue program grant opportunities.
  • Write and submit grant proposals to secure funding for CMF’s programs.
  • Manage and complete reporting on grants, ensuring compliance with funding requirements.
