About The Position
The Education and Guest Services Division provides meaningful learning opportunities for Mount Vernon's one million annual onsite visitors and students in classrooms around the country. Through a diverse portfolio of interpretive experiences, engaging programs, and online resources, we expand each learner's understanding of, and appreciation for, George Washington and the revolutionary world in which he lived. During the Summer/Fall of 2025, there will be two interns in the Education Administration department reporting to the Vice President for Education. These interns will have shared responsibilities relating to the major exhibition project in design development over the summer, as well as planning community-building experiences for other Mount Vernon interns (summer only). In addition, they will each have independent projects to bring to completion.
