TU seeks an Education Abroad Coordinator to assist students throughout the study abroad process, including advising sessions, assistance with securing travel visas, and pre-departure orientations; Manage Terra Dotta application database and the database of approved courses; Make regular updates to Terra Dotta to reflect changes to programs, terms, or application elements; Research and identify curricular matches between TU and current and potential partner programs and institutions; Assist students in complying with registration and academic credit transfer requirements; Manage CGE Education Abroad outreach events; Manage designated budgets for all special events; Manage the CGE website and serve as liaison with TU web designers; Conduct an annual review of study abroad processes; Liaise with partner universities to promote TU and recruit exchange students; Manage exchange students’ nomination and application process; Maintain data on the exchange student program and balance numbers; Represent the CGE at campus, community, and national meetings; Provide accurate reporting regarding programs, activities, and student advising. The Education Abroad Coordinator for the Center for Global Engagement will have the responsibility for advising study abroad students during planning, in-country and after their program abroad, liaising with campus offices and partners abroad, managing the CGE Study Abroad databases such as TDS and course approval database and managing the CGE events, marketing, outreach, and website. This position reports to the Director of the CGE .
