JOB SUMMARY Under general direction of the Office of International Services (OIS), the Education Abroad Coordinator oversees all aspects of Saint Louis University’s non-Madrid study abroad programs, including traditional semester and academic year abroad, exchanges, international internships, short-term and faculty-led programs. The Coordinator provides comprehensive support to students and faculty, manages operational and risk management processes, and ensures alignment with the University’s mission to promote global education and inclusive participation. The coordinator manages daily advising for students, faculty training, course articulations, and application processes, while also serving as the institutional point of contact for study abroad partners and providers. In addition to oversight of the non-Madrid study abroad programs, the Coordinator assists the Madrid study-abroad counselor with the Spanish visa process, pre-departure orientations, and development of promotional materials.
