The individual will serve as the primary liaison with content vendors, including contacting sources, tracking assignments, and following up as needed. The role requires facilitating communication between stakeholders including doctors, writers, editors, and marketing counterparts. The candidate will also source and organize assets such as stock photos and interface with writers and photographers when needed. Additionally, the position involves assisting editors with web production, including uploading assets and posting stories in the CMS, producing and posting content within a CMS, and planning and positioning stories for various online audiences, including writing SEO- and social media-optimized headlines. Quality control for all online content is essential, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery. The candidate will support marketing campaigns by coordinating content requests and ensuring interviews and stories are completed on schedule, monitor editorial calendars, and maintain production timelines, and participate in the review and approval process for all content.
