We are hiring an Editorial Associate (Reporting & News Aggregation), Mid-Atlantic, to join our team located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. As the Editorial Associate (Reporting & News Aggregation), Mid-Atlantic, you will: Own the daily news briefs — aggregating and curating the most important political and policy stories each morning across six Mid-Atlantic states for a flagship subscriber product Use AI tools to assist in headline discovery, summarization and workflow efficiency — while applying strong editorial judgment to ensure accuracy and quality Write clear, compelling headlines and summaries that help readers quickly understand what matters and why Help produce and package the daily morning newsletter, ensuring it is timely, accurate and engaging Report on the Pennsylvania statehouse as a secondary responsibility, contributing brief stories, rewrites and spot coverage Monitor breaking news and emerging trends across the region

Requirements

  • Ability to write with clarity, confidence and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with and learn how to utilize AI-assisted editorial tools
  • Ability to be organized and capable to track multiple states and storylines at once
  • Ability to collaborate and be open to feedback

Responsibilities
