The Editorial Rotational Program is designed to accelerate the professional growth and development of Early Career Editorial professionals. This program provides participants with exposure to a variety of assignments, apprenticeship-style learning, and increased responsibilities. We are seeking driven, tenacious, and pragmatic individuals who aspire to become significant contributors within the Editorial team and our broader direct-to-consumer lifestyle business. As a full-time Editorial Assistant, you will have the opportunity to explore various areas including Analytics & Reporting, Industry Relations, Operations, Licensing & Contracts, Cross-Functional Business Initiatives, and Book Selections. After approximately two years, team members will transition into more specialized roles based on their performance, strengths, and demonstrated interests during the program. Success in this program is contingent upon several key characteristics: producing high-quality work, demonstrating a sense of urgency and follow-through in tasks, exercising good judgment, and being a receptive learner. Participants will engage in a range of administrative tasks, including building and maintaining trackers and reports, preparing and proofreading documents, and organizing and analyzing data to identify trends. Additionally, you will assist with maintaining contact databases, coordinating editorial content, drafting licensing agreements, and supporting cross-functional business initiatives. Reading and evaluating manuscripts to provide feedback on their potential for Book of the Month (BOTM) will also be part of your responsibilities.
