About The Position

The eDiscovery Project Manager manages day-to-day eDiscovery matter support, providing high-level oversight, delegation, and execution across multiple concurrent projects. The incumbent coordinates resources to meet scope, deadlines, and quality standards, and collaborates with attorneys, paralegals, IT, and client teams to support defensible discovery workflows – including defensible collection coordination, data intake, custody and tracking, organization, production, and analytics support using eDiscovery tools. Expected annual billables: 1,400 hours.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred, however a combination of relevant experience with an Associate’s degree or relevant technical certification(s) may be considered.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in eDiscovery or legal industry; law firm experience preferred.
  • Experience with ESI and electronic discovery a must.
  • Relativity a must; RCA preferred.
  • Experience with technology-assisted review methodologies, including TAR/CAL, prioritization review, and related analytics.
  • Knowledge of processing raw and structured data, setting up complex saved searches, managing document review teams, and preparing document productions.
  • Understanding of civil rules of procedure, court orders, and local rules that govern eDiscovery.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and customer service skills are required.
  • Must be extremely detail oriented, organized, and methodical and have great follow-through skills.
  • Must have the ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines with the ability to adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be available to work overtime, including evening and weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Providing end-to-end oversight of discovery matters and serving as primary client point of contact.
  • Providing expertise and consultative advice regarding defensible data collections, processing, review workflows, analytics, and production/export deliverables.
  • Creating and maintaining project schedules, including defining activities, sequence, dependencies, work effort, duration, and associated resource requirements.
  • Developing and managing relationships with internal teams.
  • Defining, communicating, implementing, and monitoring quality standards on all project deliverables.
  • Planning and managing internal and external project communications, ensuring effective exchange of project information and deliverables.
  • Serving as expert on Bradley’s review platforms.
  • Forecasting, tracking, and managing project budgets and invoices.
  • Successfully overseeing multiple, concurrent projects.
  • Generating and distributing reporting metrics for processed requests on a regular basis.
  • Developing strong client relationships through collaborative, consultative service.
