The EDI Engineer II is responsible for implementing EDI Partners on the Estes EDI platform, Cleo. This includes communicating with customers, configuring data communications (Sftp/AS2), mapping and testing their EDI setup, obtaining approvals, and performing verifications. Additional responsibilities include development of new transactions/versions within the Cleo Platform, issue monitoring/review/resolution in the Cleo Platform and in the Estes systems, assisting with modifications for optimization, supporting other team members through knowledge sharing. Responsible for the execution and timely completion of assigned tasks and serves as the first escalation point for level I Engineers. May provide guidance and training to level I Engineers. Ability to create, maintain and implement machine level instruction in relevant domain. Maintain technology environments through research, documentation, and maintenance throughout the production lifecycle. Contribute to and define tasks related to installation, configuration, upgrades, maintenance, enhancements, tuning for optimal performance, security procedures, issue troubleshooting and resolution. Define capacity planning, monitoring, and maintenance of designated systems. Ability to define assigned development, testing, and production environments. Takes ownership of issue resolution, tracks progress, communicates, and escalates as appropriate. Define standards and guidelines across technology environments. Define process development, best practices, and identifying new ways to improve resilience, performance levels, and support. Identify opportunities, recommend appropriate actions, implement and follow through. Communicate to staff as appropriate. Define documentation requirements. Regular attendance is required.
