We are seeking a results-driven Customer Service Specialist to elevate our Customer Service Call Center's performance and customer satisfaction. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service while meeting performance goals. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality service and will thrive in a fast-paced environment. The position requires a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for processing retail orders, including entry, modification, verification, and release using EDI, ERP, and SAP systems. You will handle product and account setup on customer accounts, monitor customer orders, backorders, and shipping windows, and update the GXS catalog and InterTrade. Additionally, you will follow up on purchase order extensions, status updates, and product availability while expediting shipping as necessary. Your role will involve responding to requests from sales representatives and account managers regarding order and product status, as well as interacting with the Distribution Center to prioritize product shipments. You will also resolve customer issues, generate order and product availability reports, track and assign return authorizations, and assist with mass account maintenance updates. Special projects and other duties may be assigned as needed, and you will serve as a liaison with customer service to troubleshoot any systemic issues that arise.
