About The Position

Position Summary The EDI Analyst is responsible for creating, maintaining, and governing accurate master data records across the organization’s ERP and Warehouse Management System (WMS). This role ensures integrity of key data elements such as SKUs, vendors, pricing, product hierarchies, and attributes. By safeguarding the accuracy and consistency of master data, this position supports efficient fulfillment, replenishment, financial reporting, and decision-making.

Requirements

  • 1-2 experience in master data management, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
  • ERP/WMS experience required; familiarity with item master and vendor master modules.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies and resolve discrepancies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables) and comfortable handling large datasets.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple requests and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and master data best practices.
  • Experience with EDI vendor setup and compliance requirements.
  • Background in retail or omni-channel fulfillment environments.
  • Familiarity with SQL or reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) for data validation.
  • Understanding of financial implications of master data accuracy (pricing, costing, terms).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain SKU/item master records in ERP/WMS, ensuring alignment with corporate standards.
  • Maintain vendor master data including account details, payment terms, and compliance attributes.
  • Ensure accuracy of product hierarchies, categories, and attributes for reporting and system integration.
  • Support onboarding of new vendors and products by coordinating data collection and system entry.
  • Perform regular audits to identify duplicate, incomplete, or inaccurate records, and implement corrective actions.
  • Troubleshoot master data errors impacting WMS, ERP, or downstream systems and resolve root causes.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure compliance with data governance standards and policies.
  • Track data changes and maintain audit trails to ensure regulatory and internal compliance.
  • Support reporting and analytics teams by ensuring clean, accurate, and timely master data availability.
  • Provide training or guidance to end-users on data entry standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to reduce manual entry, enhance automation, and improve data quality.
  • Recommend system enhancements or workflow improvements to strengthen data integrity.
  • Participate in projects involving system upgrades, integrations, or data migrations.
