We are seeking a senior-level EDI Analyst III to lead complex interface and interoperability initiatives within a healthcare environment. This role will own end-to-end EDI and interface lifecycle management, ensuring secure, compliant, and high-performing data exchange across internal and external systems. The ideal candidate brings deep experience with healthcare EDI standards, Epic Bridges, and interface engines, along with the ability to lead initiatives, manage data integrity processes, and partner cross-functionally in an Agile environment. This is a contract to hire role - upon hire the candidate will be responsible for their own expenses to be onsite once a month. Travel to the client site will be required.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of healthcare EDI/interface experience
  • Advanced knowledge of HL7, X12 transactions, FHIR standards, and APIs
  • Deep hands-on experience with Epic Bridges
  • Experience with interface engines such as Corepoint or Rhapsody
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and healthcare interoperability regulations
  • Experience leading complex integration projects
  • Proven ability to manage data reconciliation and interface integrity processes
  • Agile methodology experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale interoperability initiatives
  • Familiarity with Cures Act and TEFCA information blocking requirements
  • Experience working in highly regulated healthcare environments
  • Leadership experience mentoring analysts or leading interface workstreams

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex EDI and interface initiatives utilizing HL7, X12, FHIR, and API-based integrations
  • Design, build, configure, and maintain interfaces using Epic Bridges
  • Support and optimize interface engines such as Corepoint and Rhapsody
  • Own end-to-end EDI data reconciliation and integrity processes
  • Monitor interface performance and proactively resolve data discrepancies
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, the Cures Act, and TEFCA interoperability requirements
  • Maintain interface configuration documentation and change management controls
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including story decomposition, sizing, stand-ups, and sprint planning
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for interoperability and data exchange best practices
  • Mentor junior analysts and provide technical leadership across initiatives
