EDGE programs are designed to help the next generation of makers, builders and innovators jump-start a successful career at Rockwell Automation. These programs will help new grads expand, discover, grow and excel - providing that critical EDGE needed as you grow into your career. By participating in this rotational program, you will complete four six-month project assignments designed to build your knowledge of Rockwell Automation products, processes, and technical skills. Associates perform in a full-time professional capacity throughout the program. Associates can be placed within a technology development or analytics development program track based on their interests and skillsets.

  • Complete four six-month project assignments in various areas of technology and analytics.
  • Build knowledge of Rockwell Automation products and processes.
  • Develop technical skills relevant to the assigned projects.
  • Graduating or graduated with a Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university prior to the start date (~June/July 2026).
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
  • Graduating with a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Information Sciences, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar from an accredited college or university in December 2025 or Spring 2026.
  • Experience working in a business setting (e.g., internship, co-op or professional).
  • A passion for technology, process improvement and innovation.
  • Proven teamwork collaboration.
  • Ability to work with complex systems to analyze data input and process flows.
  • Foundational understanding of AI concepts (machine learning, natural language processing, generative & Agentic AI) and their practical applications in IT.
  • Ability to use enterprise approved AI tools/platforms (i.e. Co-Pilot, Github, Claude, Windsurf) to improve productivity and automation.
  • Awareness of responsible AI practices, including data privacy, security, and compliance.
  • Comfort collaborating with cross-functional teams on AI-related initiatives or digital transformation efforts.
