About The Position

Insomniac produces some of the most innovative, immersive music festivals and events in the world. Since its inception, Insomniac’s events have taken place in 13 countries across five continents. The company’s premiere annual event, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, is the world’s largest dance music festival and attracts more than 525,000 fans over three days. Insomniac is looking for a driven Signage/Scrim Installer Lead who works alongside the crew to build and install signage and scrim, while providing leadership, communication, and oversight to ensure timely execution.

Requirements

  • Has Visual Communications experience as an installer & go through lead orientation
  • OSHA 10 Certification (required)
  • Forklift certification is preferred
  • Able to read and interpret site maps and breakouts
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible, team-oriented, and dependable
  • Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments
  • May work in drastic temperature climates
  • Must be willing to frequently travel to work events during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
  • Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Insomniac for a visa.

Responsibilities

  • Review daily scope and crew duties with PM
  • Supervise and assist with: Load-in/load-out On-site installations
  • Use tools, resources and maps effectively
  • Maintain progress and meet project deadlines
  • Train and support crew as needed
  • Attend daily production meetings if PM is unavailable
  • Report issues (crew conflicts, workflow, safety, etc.) to PM immediately
  • Ensure compliance with: OSHA safety standards
  • Regularly update PM with: Daily progress reports Photos (for internal use only — no social media sharing) Delays, changes, risks, or opportunities
  • Provide PM with crew/equipment feedback
  • Promote teamwork, respect, and open communication
