About The Position
Reporting to the Emergency Director of Patient Care Services/Shift Manager, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process.
Requirements
- Graduation from Nursing School
- California RN license
- ACLS and PALS (New Grad only - within 3 months of hire/transfer)
- TNCC (New Grad or new to the ED - within 12 months of hire/transfer)
- Must obtain National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) education module within 6 months of hire or transfer into unit and must maintain thereafter.
- ENPC and MICN per clinical ladder requirements.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year ED or 2 years Telemetry preferred
- CEN preferred
