About The Position
Position Summary : Assists Emergency Department nursing personnel as required. Performs procedures for which they are prepared in a safe and efficient manner under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Reports all pertinent information to appropriate personnel.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- EMT/Paramedic Certification or PCT Certification or Foreign Medical Graduate
- BLS certification
- Knowledge of principles of patient assessment skills, including performance of EKG's is a must
- Minimum of one (1) year as a PCT, EMT or Foreign Medical Graduate
Nice To Haves
- Computer skills preferred
- Bilingual preferred
