About The Position
Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, is looking for an Emergency Department Technician to join our Emergency Department team in Palmer, MA. The ED Tech is responsible for direct patient care including hygiene, skin care, mobility, transfers, and monitoring. This multi-skilled incumbent performs a variety of duties related to phlebotomy, EKGs, assisting with procedures, taking vitals, recording drainage patterns, and wound care. The ED Tech is also responsible for assisting with elimination of body wastes, performing POC testing and communicating effectively with patients and team members.
