ED Team Coordinator 1, Emergency Department, FT, 07A-7:30P
About The Position
Performs clerical duties, order and data entry utilizing multiple computer systems. Effectively communicate and facilitate all departmental orders and results to ED staff. Serves as front-line departmental ambassador in customer service. Maintain a professional demeanor with internal and external personnel. Work in conjunction with the ED team in order to expedite patient care and throughput and provide excellent quality care in a family oriented hospital setting. Estimated pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.30 / hour depending on experience.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, Certification, GED, Training or Experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution
- Peer respect
- Critical thinking skills
- Self-motivated
- Customer service skills and/or orientation
- Exhibits flexibility in scheduling to adapt to special circumstance prior and ability to multitask
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a Unit Secretary/Adm Partner desired
- Completion of a medical terminology course or previous experience in admitting/emergency or physician office (preferred)
