About The Position

The position involves performing clerical duties, order and data entry utilizing multiple computer systems. The individual will effectively communicate and facilitate all departmental orders and results to the Emergency Department (ED) staff. This role serves as the front-line departmental ambassador in customer service, maintaining a professional demeanor with both internal and external personnel. The individual will work in conjunction with the ED team to expedite patient care and throughput, providing excellent quality care in a family-oriented hospital setting. The estimated pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.30 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, Certification, GED, Training or Experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Previous experience as a Unit Secretary/Adm Partner desired.
• Completion of a medical terminology course or previous experience in admitting/emergency or physician office (preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution.
• Exhibit flexibility in scheduling to adapt to special circumstances.
• Ability to multitask.

Nice To Haves
