About The Position

The Emergency Department Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides routine and emergency medical care, under the supervision of a licensed physician.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner training program and NCPAA or AANP certification
• Two to three years of post-graduate work experience in an Emergency Department
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Hawaii State Board of Medical Examiners licensure
• Controlled substance prescriptive authority
