The Patient Access Representative is responsible for pre-registration, registration and admission functions in the Emergency Department at Saint Mary's Hospital What you will do Perform complete and accurate pre-registrations, registration, and admission functions Verify insurance requirements, obtain and understand insurance benefits Secure signatures and all other key information needed to complete billing and collection functions Collect or arrange for co-insurance and/or other deposit payment amounts Refer self-pay patients to financial counselors; answers patient questions
