We are looking to hire a ED Paramedic As an ED Paramedic at MercyOne, you will provide safe, effective, ethical and culturally competent patient care for Emergency Department patients of all age groups requiring stabilization and/or resuscitation. Collaborates in the assessment of the patient and/or situations in a timely, consistent and systematic manner. Implements care under direction of the ED provider to achieve identified outcomes for the patient according to policy and procedure. Performs care and procedures according to protocols and at their respective level of licensure in accordance with guidelines and other delegated tasks approved to perform. Functions within their Scope of Practice in accordance with the Iowa Department of Public Health, Bureau of EMS.

Requirements

Licensed Paramedic in Illinois
Licensed Paramedic in Iowa within one year.
More than 2 years' experience required.
2-year college program or equivalent experience
Field Of Study: Emergency Medical Services

Responsibilities

Provide safe, effective, ethical and culturally competent patient care for Emergency Department patients of all age groups requiring stabilization and/or resuscitation.
Collaborates in the assessment of the patient and/or situations in a timely, consistent and systematic manner.
