Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to multitask and work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
Proficient in computer use and EMR systems (e.g., Epic).
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of experience in a healthcare or hospital setting.
Previous experience in an Emergency Department or similar fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

The Information Coordinator in the Emergency Department is responsible for managing all communication and clerical activities that support the efficient operation of the unit.
This role serves as a liaison between the ED clinical team, hospital departments, patients, and families to facilitate timely and effective communication, patient tracking, and administrative coordination.
