Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing
• Currently licensed to practice by the Texas State Board of Nursing
• Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications
• Must have current CPR certification upon hire
• Successful completion of Handle With Care to include physical hold and verbal de-escalation during orientation

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• A minimum of one (1) nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care according to Texas Board of Nursing.
