About The Position

Park Royal Behavioral Health Services, Southwest Florida's premier behavioral health hospital and system have an immediate opening for an ECT Registered Nurse. Serving as a key member of our team, the primary duties include but are not limited to: Participates in the development and evaluation of nursing practices provided in the clinical setting and overall function of the clinical area including the ECT suite. Planning and provision of comprehensive nursing care to a specific group of patients. Delivery of medical regimens prescribed for those patients by a license physician. Participates in the identification and resolution of nursing practice and unit problems. Responsible for completing required paperwork in accordance to hospital policy. Responsible for effectively communicating with physicians regarding patient status. Responsible for patient and family education. Responsible and accountable for efficient time and resource management in accomplishing acceptable work volumes (i.e. supply cost, time mgt.) Accountable for regulatory and compliance standards in the suite. Responsible for the timely and accurate implementation of physician orders. Demonstrates initiative by developing and/or implementing new ideas or methods of patient care. Continuously supports the Hospital's Mission, Vision, Values, Goals and Objectives.

Requirements

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency, knowledge, skills, and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position.
  • Must demonstrate flexibility and the knowledge and the skills required.
  • Current Florida nursing license.
  • Must be ACLS and IV Certified
