About The Position

Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center is a behavioral healthcare facility in South Florida that provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults suffering from drug addiction , mental health issues , and co-occurring disorders . Our fully licensed and accredited private hospital has been providing world-class treatment in a secure and comfortable setting for over 30 years. Position Overview: Role: ECT and Adult Inpatient Patient Population: Adult Schedule: 5 days a week, daytime hours. Weekend Coverage: 1:6 Saturday/Sunday in-person rounding. Weekday Call: One evening call shift per week by phone only. Employment Type: Full-time employed position, on-site only. Additional earnings potential: Extra call options and Productivity Bonus Plan. Requirements

M.D./D.O. with Board Eligibility/Certification in General Psychiatry with ECT training and experience required for this position
Successful completion of an accredited General Psychiatry residency.
Florida medical license and DEA in good standing or eligibility to obtain it.

Responsibilities

Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for adult patients.
Participate in daily treatment team meetings.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.
Conduct ECT procedures and treat Adut Inpatient populations.
