About The Position

Greater Baltimore Committee is hiring an Ecosystem Engagement Senior Manager for the UpSurge Team to support the Director of Ecosystem Engagement by driving day-to-day execution across key programs, convenings, and operational systems that strengthen Baltimore’s startup ecosystem. This role ensures projects stay on track by managing timelines in monday.com, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, and maintaining strong documentation and engagement tracking. The Ecosystem Engagement Manager will support stewardship of the Entrepreneur Support Network (ESN) by facilitating data transfer and coordinating with the team on data support to ensure ecosystem relationship data is clean, accurate, and usable for engagement and reporting. They will steward BMore Tech Connect, the regional hub for entrepreneurial resource navigation. They will also help grow the MD Student Venture Showcase + Pava Awards by executing workshops, coordinating coaching and technical assistance, expanding outreach, and stewarding the Student Ventures Steering Committee. In addition, this role supports the content and brand components of UpSurge convenings and works closely with the GBC Communications team to collect, organize, and package ecosystem stories and program highlights for newsletters and social media that elevate Baltimore founders and partners. This role requires a highly organized, proactive project leader with strong judgment, a professional presence, and high EQ—someone who builds trust across diverse stakeholders and executes consistently in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements

The Ecosystem Engagement Manager should be able to bring structure to ambiguous work, communicate clearly, and keep timelines moving without constant oversight.

Strong communication and documentation skills (meeting notes, follow-up, task tracking)
Proficiency with digital productivity tools (Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, project tracking tools)
Ability to independently manage tasks, priorities, and follow-through

Nice To Haves

monday.com experience (highly preferred)
Experience maintaining CRM-like systems for relationship and engagement tracking (highly preferred)
Familiarity with entrepreneurship, startup support, ecosystem-building, or community programs

Responsibilities

ESN Liaison + BMore Tech Connect Adoption Serve as the primary liaison to the Entrepreneur Support Network (ESN) for BMore Tech Connect Support ESN adoption, usage, and feedback collection related to the platform Coordinate onboarding, communications, and updates to grow BMore Tech Connect as a shared ecosystem resource hub
Execute Student Venture Programming + Growth Manage logistics and execution for MD Student Venture Showcase + Pava Awards workshops Coordinate coaching/technical assistance and support outreach to expand participation Support the stewardship for the Student Ventures Steering Committee and support related communications
Systems, Documentation + Convenings Content Collaboration Capture decisions, meeting notes, and project artifacts in organized, accessible ways Support ESN stewardship through coordinated data transfer and alignment with colleagues’ data practices Support planning and execution for convenings (logistics, run-of-show, materials, follow-up) Coordinate content collection during convenings and work with the GBC Marketing & Communications team to package content for newsletters and social media
Stakeholder Coordination + Accountability + Project Management Coordinate across partners, vendors, coaches, and internal teammates to meet deliverables Schedule meetings, manage follow-ups, and ensure action items move to completion Serve as an execution partner to the Director by maintaining alignment and accountability Own project boards, timelines, and work plans for ecosystem engagement initiatives Track tasks, flag risks, and ensure milestones are met across programs and events
