About The Position
The Economist position at the World Bank involves contributing to the Development Economics Global Indicators Group (DECIG) by conducting quantitative analysis, managing data collection, and disseminating research results. The role focuses on the implementation of Enterprise Surveys and other data collection initiatives to support private sector development and inform policy decisions. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with a team of economists and report to the DECEA manager.
