Help the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife fulfill its mission: To protect and enhance Oregon's fish and wildlife and their habitats for use and enjoyment by present and future generations. This permanent, full time position is with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, Marine Resources Program, located in Newport, Oregon. You will work collaboratively in a team environment to implement studies and investigate economic impacts of marine policy and regulations affecting coastal fishing communities, communities of interest, and communities of place. You will also perform quantitative analysis of marine fishing data and interpret the results to inform the department's resource management decisions, as well as conduct economic research on the impacts of marine reserve and protected area implementation on ocean users, identified communities of interest and place, and the general public.
