About The Position

Anoka-Ramsey Community College is seeking an unlimited, full-time Economics faculty member. The primary responsibilities include teaching a variety of economic course offerings. Candidates should be available and willing to teach courses at a variety of times and/or delivery models such as day, evening, and online. All faculty members are expected to participate in departmental meetings and initiatives, and college-wide committees. Continual professional development is also expected. The Economics department values collegiality and collaboration as part of its commitment to teaching and learning and seeks candidates with strong interpersonal skills. This position may teach courses associated with both the Cambridge and Coon Rapids campuses of Anoka-Ramsey, but the primary teaching responsibilities will be through the Coon Rapids campus

Requirements

  • Master's degree with a major in economics OR a Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester credits (27 graduate quarter credits) in economics

Nice To Haves

  • Experience teaching college level Economics.
  • Experience teaching online using instructional management software (e.g., D2L), and experience teaching face-to-face.
  • Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and integrating research-supported student-centered learning techniques to support their success.
  • A commitment to engaging in department, student, and college communities outside of the classroom.
