About The Position

Teaching Assistants are Economics or Quantitative Economics majors who will have typically earned excellent grades in Econ 121 Principles of Economics and all or most of the core courses: Econ 260 Introductory Econometrics; Econ 261 Macroeconomic Theory; and Econ 262 Microeconomic Theory. Teaching Assistants for Business and Management Studies will have earned excellent grades in the courses taken toward completion of the concentration. TA will typically work 2-3 hours per week averaged over the semester, but hours may be lower some weeks and higher during others. This may vary depending on instructor. The Economics Department is seeking applicants for the following Fall 2025 semester courses: ECON 121 A & C Principles (Osell), ECON 121 B Principles (Mookerjee), ECON 121 D Principles( Hodgson), ECON 121 E & H Principles (Dass), ECON 121 F Principles (Kaiser), ECON 121 G Principles (Luedtke), ECON 242 Environmental Econ (Seth Binder), ECON 245 A & B Health Care (Hodgson), ECON 248 A & B Money & Banking (Sardar), ECON 260 A & B Econometrics (Hisam), ECON 261 A & B Macro (Bansah), ECON 262 A & B Micro (Kaiser), ECON 262 C & D Micro (Harris), ECON 371 Public Policy (Braun), ECON 376 Labor & Empl Relations (Mookerjee), ECON 378 Legal Systems (Harris), ECON 382 International Econ (Bansah), ECON 385 Time Ser & F'casting (Sardar).
