ProSidian Seeks a Economic Modeler (Contract Contingent) in Charlotte, NC / Remote to support an engagement for agency of the United States government responsible for consumer protection in the occupational safety and health sector The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to wll provide policy and economic analyses support services Economic Modeler Candidates shall work to support requirements for PR0001 Program Support and The Economic Modeler will help develop, design, and deliver economic analysis of policy change related of occupational safety and health. The Economic Modeler will support, assess, and execute statistical, mathematical, and economic models for policy making, risk assessment and performance measurement in areas related to occupational safety and health. The Economic Modeler will work with a Data and Policy Analyst and Regulatory Specialist on each project to provide deliverables to the agency. The Economic Modeler will be responsible for the econoic anlaysis of the potential impact of policy changes. The Ecomonic Modeler will be the primary contributor to the evaluation, development and management of advanced economic models related to occupational safety and health. The Economic Modeler will be responsible for assisting in developing content for study repors and presentation of statistical findings. The Economic Modeler will utilize data mining and statistical techniques to help develop analytic insights, sound hypotheses, and informed recommendations. The Economic Modeler will conduct ad hoc quantitative analyses, modeling, or programming using SAS, SQL, R, or Python. The Economic Modeler will perform analyses to assess the quality and risk of model methodologies, outputs, and processes under supervision.
