About The Position

The Economic Development & Infrastructure Manager position at the State of Louisiana is a professional role focused on managing disaster recovery and mitigation programs under the Office of Community Development. Requirements

• A baccalaureate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration.
• Two years of professional level experience in project/program management, lending, accounting, disaster recovery, or public administration.
• Knowledge of Community Development Block Grant Regulations.
• Experience coordinating with multiple government agencies on programs and reporting.
• Experience managing contracted intermediaries for government programs.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Business or Public Administration.
• Experience in disaster recovery and/or disaster mitigation/resilience programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage the design, implementation, and supervision of economic development and infrastructure recovery and mitigation programs.
• Develop program guidelines, policies, monitoring plans, and cooperative endeavor agreements.
• Resolve complex, long-standing issues related to disaster recovery programs.
• Oversee project and program budget projections and expenditures, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Review and approve requests for reimbursement and project/program applications.
• Provide technical guidance to subordinates, grantees, and sub-recipients.
• Attend meetings to ensure the progress of projects and programs.
• Provide reports and recommendations to the Director on assigned programs and policies.
• Supervise team leads to monitor performance and ensure successful program outcomes.
• Coordinate training programs on disaster recovery and mitigation programs.
