About The Position

We are seeking an Economic Damages & Valuation Director to join our ED&V team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven professional with a well‑rounded skill set to join the group, whose responsibilities extend beyond those of traditional roles in this space. The ideal person for this position will not only have a strong grasp of economic damages and valuation methodologies, but also be flexible and a strategic thinker able to take on a wide variety of tasks. In this role, you'll work on high‑impact litigation and valuation matters across a wide range of industries, applying your expertise in evaluating economic damages. You’ll use your financial statement analysis skills and experience preparing expert reports to support clients through complex business disputes. You’ll help lead day‑to‑day project management and client communications across multiple engagements, offering variety, pace, and exposure to challenging cases. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys analytical work and wants to deepen their expertise in economic damages methodologies. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree with strong quantitative bias (e.g. Business, Economics, Math, Finance or Accounting)
  • Relevant experience evaluating economic damages in business litigation cases (5 years minimum)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word with strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality expert reports.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong analysis and critical thinking skills.
  • Able to meet deadlines while being detail oriented.
  • Strong independent work ethic and leadership skills and qualities.
  • Exceptional communication skills to support and solve our client’s questions and requests.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certifications (ex. CPA, ASA, CVA, ABV, CFA, etc.), or have demonstrated progress towards obtaining certifications.
  • Testimony experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Will help lead complex business litigation engagements to evaluate economic damages
  • Building client relationships and acting as a direct contact with current and prospective clients
  • Interacting with clients, including face-to-face meetings, to gather data and information pertinent to the engagement
  • Providing insight and expertise on target industries, market, and competitor information
  • Managing damages analyses, including determining appropriate methodologies and building and reviewing financial models
  • Review and analyze reports of opposing damages experts
