We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated intern to join our Merchandising team at Swanson Health. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in merchandising operations, digital merchandising, product information management, and marketplace operations while supporting major initiatives that will shape our e-commerce business.

Requirements

  • A student or recent graduate with an interest in e-commerce, merchandising, retail technology, or digital marketing.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large sets of data.
  • Excited to learn about digital merchandising marketplace strategies, and website platform migrations.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite - Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Nice To Haves

  • Enrolled in or graduating from college / university with a degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing or similar field preferred.
  • Keen interest in product, merchandising, e-commerce and customer insights.
  • Strong analytical skills and basic foundation in retail math preferred.
  • Motivated, self-starter with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the launch of a new Product Information Management (PIM) system, helping to organize and migrate product data to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support our key initiative with migrating our e-commerce website to Shopify, including data validation, product setup, and content optimization.
  • Help maintain and optimize product listings across third-party marketplaces like Amazon, Walmart.com, and eBay, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Assist with the setup and ongoing maintenance of products on our e-commerce platform, ensuring accurate and optimized product listings, attributes, images, descriptions, and pricing.
  • Conduct competitive research to analyze shopping experience, product trends, and assortment opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the merchandising and marketing teams on promotional campaigns, product launches, and website enhancements.
  • Support general merchandising tasks, including product attribution, content updates, and other ad-hoc projects as needed.
