About The Position

The Ecommerce Merchandiser role supports daily management and merchandising of Shopify storefronts, ensuring accurate product setup, engaging site presentation, and timely promotional execution. This role also provides support and learning assistance for Amazon marketplace operations under team guidance.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience with Shopify Admin and product data management
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (lookups, pivot tables, basic forecasting)
  • Understanding of ecommerce merchandising and visual presentation principles
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate cross-functionally
  • Clear written communication skills and a creative eye for merchandising
  • 1–2 years of experience in ecommerce operations or merchandising
  • Familiarity with ERP or inventory systems (Alloy, SAP4HANA a plus)
  • Experience supporting promotions or homepage updates
  • Basic understanding of ecommerce performance metrics (conversion rate, AOV)
  • As a company with products related to the firearms and outdoor sports industry, applicants must be comfortable working in environments where firearms and related equipment are present.
  • A passion for our industry and a willingness to engage in hands-on experiences are essential for success in this role.

  • Exposure to marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, etc.) is a plus, not required

Responsibilities

  • Manage Shopify storefront operations, including product setup, pricing, imagery, and catalog accuracy.
  • Organize and merchandise collections through tagging, sequencing, and layout optimization.
  • Execute homepage updates, banners, featured products, and promotional placements.
  • Build and maintain bundles, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities to support AOV growth.
  • Support promotional execution, including discount setup and campaign launches/removals.
  • Monitor site health and resolve issues such as missing content, broken links, or sync errors.
  • Coordorder exceptions and fulfillment issues with Operations and Customer Service.
  • Support Amazon catalog tasks, including listings, variation setup, and content updates, under guidance.
  • Assist with Amazon promotions, pricing updates, and inventory coordination (FBA/FBM).
  • Learn and follow Amazon marketplace standards, compliance rules, and workflows.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the department's effective operation.
