About The Position

As the Ecommerce Marketplace Coordinator, you will support the day-to-day operations of Johnston & Murphy’s digital marketplace channels, ensuring product listings, content, and marketing assets are accurately represented and optimized while supporting sales growth and brand visibility. You will work closely with merchandising, marketing, IT, accounting, and distribution center teams to coordinate marketplace operations and maintain a high standard of accuracy and performance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to respond quickly to changing business needs.
  • Strong organizational skills with focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to work well independently.
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems.
  • Process-focused.

Nice To Haves

  • Seller Central, Rithum (Channel Advisor) and Amazon Advertising experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Execute marketplace initiatives aligned with overall Ecommerce business goals to support sales growth and increase the visibility of Johnston & Murphy across digital marketplaces.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to determine the product assortment for Amazon and other marketplaces on a seasonal basis.
  • Coordinate internally across DC, accounting, IT, merchandising, marketing, and ecommerce teams to support marketplace operations and ensure smooth execution of product launches, updates, and ongoing marketplace needs.
  • Maintain and update marketplace product listings to ensure product information, attributes, images, and marketing assets are accurate, complete, and aligned with marketplace requirements.
  • Monitor marketplace listings for errors, suppressed products, or attribute conflicts, and troubleshoot catalog issues to maintain listing integrity and overall catalog health across marketplaces.
  • Ensure all listings feature on-brand content that clearly communicates product features, benefits, and value proposition.
  • Proactively identify and help resolve listing issues, including missing information, pricing discrepancies, and inventory inconsistencies.
  • Maintain and distribute regular marketplace performance reporting and provide insights to support product assortment and marketing decisions.
  • Coordinate with external advertising partners to support marketplace advertising campaigns, monitor performance, and ensure alignment with sales and brand objectives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure marketplace content and advertising efforts align with product launches, promotions, and overall brand messaging.
  • Monitor consumer shipments and communications to help ensure customer expectations are being met.
  • Perform keyword research and maintain product attributes to support SEO optimization across marketplaces and on johnstonmurphy.com.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitive activity across marketplaces to help identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop an understanding of the broader Ecommerce business and assist with general Ecommerce functions as needed.
