We are seeking a detail-oriented Analyst to support the audit, cleanup, and optimization of a wine and spirits product catalog across PIM platforms, including Salsify and Syndigo. This role focuses on structured data quality, attribute standardization, catalog remediation, and ensuring retailer-ready product content across key channels. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with structured data, and capable of executing independently within defined standards.

  • Ability to coordinate and review work from external agencies to ensure accuracy and brand alignment
  • Not afraid of systems, processes, and cross-platform workflows
  • High attention to detail and ownership mindset — ensuring content is correctly uploaded, published, and live

Responsibilities

  • Audit, enrich, standardize, and publish product data for a selected number of parent SKUs, including variants, across Salsify IDs using VIP data, brand materials, and retailer attribute requirements.
  • Conduct a structured audit of existing product records to evaluate completeness, internal consistency, and alignment with retailer ingestion requirements
  • Identify missing, conflicting, or outdated attributes that may block syndication, suppress discoverability, or cause retailer content rejection
  • Validate variant relationships (parent-child hierarchy, pack configuration, flavor/format mapping) to ensure correct grouping and navigation on retailer PDPs
  • Cross-reference brand sources, VIP logistics data, and retailer specifications to detect discrepancies affecting accuracy and shopper trust
  • Document retailer-specific compliance gaps and prioritize fixes based on risk to publishing, filtering, and search indexing
  • Populate mandatory and recommended retailer attributes (dimensions, alcohol %, pack count, storage, origin, materials) to unlock filtering, faceting, and shelf placement eligibility
  • Normalize units, formatting, and measurement conventions to ensure consistency across SKUs and prevent ingestion conflicts across retailers
  • Align naming conventions and variant structures to create a clear, scalable catalog architecture across product families
  • Standardize attribute values to retailer taxonomies to improve discoverability in category navigation and search refinement
  • Resolve duplicate or conflicting entries to prevent catalog fragmentation and shopper confusion
  • Publish updated product records in Salsify following validation and readiness checks
  • Verify downstream propagation to retailer endpoints and confirm data acceptance where applicable
  • Perform post-publish QA to confirm correct mapping, grouping, and visible PDP output
  • Maintain a structured change log to ensure traceability and support future updates or troubleshooting
  • Develop retailer-tailored descriptions optimized for platform formatting rules, character limits, and merchandising expectations
  • Adapt messaging to category shopper behavior while maintaining brand positioning
  • Ensure compliance with alcohol and regulatory communication standards to prevent suppression or removal
  • Create structured bullet frameworks highlighting differentiation, usage occasions, and purchase triggers
  • Prioritize decision-making information that reduces hesitation and improves conversion confidence
  • Format bullets per retailer rules to maximize readability and prevent formatting rejection
  • Populate merchandising attributes that power filtering, faceting, and recommendation systems
  • Align attributes to retailer taxonomy logic to improve category placement and search coverage
  • Optimize attribute coverage to support algorithmic ranking and shelf visibility
  • Rewrite titles following retailer naming logic and indexing patterns
  • Include required identifiers (brand, varietal, size, pack configuration) in priority order
  • Maintain consistent structure across variants to strengthen search matching and reduce duplication
  • Structure enhanced content modules into a logical storytelling flow supporting education and differentiation
  • Align content hierarchy with shopper decision journey from awareness to purchase
  • Ensure mobile-friendly readability and clear visual scanning behavior
  • Coordinate copy and assets to create cohesive brand presentation across products
  • Audit existing visuals and identify gaps preventing clear communication of product benefits and usage
  • Align messaging hierarchy between PDP copy and visual storytelling
  • Prepare detailed briefs for agencies to ensure efficient production and minimal revision cycles
  • Review agency drafts and provide structured feedback focused on clarity, accuracy, and conversion effectiveness
  • Validate claims, product specifications, and regulatory considerations
  • Maintain consistency across SKUs to reinforce brand recognition and portfolio cohesion
  • Prepare finalized assets for retailer upload and module placement
  • Match visuals to retailer layout requirements and module behavior
  • Confirm correct placement and rendering after publishing
  • Compile product information from structured data and brand sources into web-ready content
  • Align website messaging with retailer PDP positioning to ensure consistent consumer experience across channels
  • Structure product and collection content for clarity and navigation
  • Coordinate stakeholder revisions and finalize publication-ready content
