Role reports to: Sr Manager, Omni Performance - Walmart Location: North America, United States, Arkansas, Rogers Work Location: Hybrid What you will do The Ecommerce Analyst would be responsible for supporting the development of our digital insights and analytics tools across the Self Care portfolio at Walmart with the goal of fueling aggressive Digital Sales growth at our largest retail customer in the US. This candidate will have ownership of key eCommerce performance processes while contributing insights that shape omni-channel strategy. This role will support reporting and analytics, monitor digital shelf health, and proactively surface insights that drive content, search, and promotional improvements. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure executional excellence and contribute recommendations that enhance the overall shopper experience and business results for skin health brands on Walmart.com.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
  • A minimum of 3-4 years total business experience in customer sales, marketing, category insights/management, analytics, shopper marketing, eCommerce or related field is required
  • Prior experience supporting Ecommerce and/or Digital Marketing is required
  • Background in insights and analytics is required
  • Proficient in a variety of applications (Excel, Tableau, Power BI), and the ability to pick up new applications and processes quickly
  • Ability to prioritize and to manage multiple priorities successfully is required
  • Ability to navigate through rapid change and navigate ambiguity is required
  • Ability to work in a complex, matrix environment is required
  • Strong collaboration, big picture thinking and communication skills is required
  • Ability to access, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from data is required
  • Strong Analytical Skills and storytelling presentations

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with consumer-packaged goods industry is a plus.
  • Strong digital acumen and understanding of tools such as Scintilla, Stackline, IRI, Profitero, Flywheel, Pacvue and Salsify preferred to stand up measurement scorecards for the customer and internal stakeholders when required

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the development and evolution of customer Ecommerce scorecards and diagnostic tools to influence our digital strategy and activations real time across digital shelf, e-category management, and retail media.
  • Organize, analyze, and draw conclusions from multiple data sources to independently identify trends and provide insights-based recommendations to enhance results.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in 6P data-based “story telling” and own our reporting and commentary process through all levels of the organization, internally and externally.
  • Leverage the suite of digital analytics available through our retail ecosystem to quickly uncover the insight and opportunity.
  • Work collaboratively with our Digital Shelf Cx teams to measure and optimize our content health and share of shelf across our power codes and item segmentation strategy
  • Create impactful insight-based e-category strategies and presentations – leading quarterly deep dives centered around digital landscape trends, online 6P fundamentals such as taxonomy as well as future-focused capabilities to influence Customer site merchandising on the online site experience and growth opportunities.
  • Consult with our Customer Development teams to best embed digital insights into their everyday ways of working with the customer
  • Strong digital acumen and understanding of tools such as Scintilla, Stackline, IRI, Profitero, Flywheel, Pacvue and Salsify preferred to stand up measurement scorecards for the customer and internal stakeholders when required
  • Manage digital shelf health by tracking NPI launches, monitoring content accuracy, and ensuring timely updates for assets and promotional items.
  • Support competitive audits and content optimization by identifying gaps, escalating issues, and providing observations that enhance shopper engagement.
