About The Position
Bechtel is performing Project Management and Technical Services leading up to a Final Investment Decision for a 750km natural gas pipeline in British Columbia, Canada. The pipeline will traverse remote mountainous terrain, sensitive environments, and deep marine channels. The project includes compression, metering, pipeline installation, offshore pipeline installation, and other facilities and communications systems. The Home Office Cost and Systems Engineer is responsible for the establishment of the Project Control cost System ECOSYS including the ongoing training, development and administration of the system to ensure timely accurate reporting of the Project cost status. Further, the role will be responsible for producing the Project Cost and Commitment Report, as well as support the preparation of Bi-weekly and Monthly reports.
