About The Position

ECMH Social Worker- Full Time Family Support Community-based Flexible Schedule Pay range: $60,000 - $70,000 Achievement Centers for Children is a Cleveland, Ohio-based non-profit organization that is nationally recognized for its excellence in helping children with disabilities and their families achieve and thrive. Administrative hours work from home capability per approval. This position provides great work/life balance as you can write your schedule with 5-day 8-hour shifts or 4-day 10-hour shifts. Must live in or near Cuyahoga County, as this position requires traveling to and from homes in Cuyahoga County. This position is a grant-funded role. The ideal candidate is an experienced Social Worker who has clinical, community-based experience working with young children and their families.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Social Work, LSW, LPC, LISW, LPCC
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and family dynamics
  • Experience with home/community visiting
  • Capable of adapting and reacting quickly and effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain a positive attitude while supporting clients and addressing concerns
  • Cultural competency to develop a working partnership with a diverse clientele

Nice To Haves

  • DC:0-5 training a plus, along with the ability to identify social-emotional and developmental challenges within infants and toddlers
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide home and community-based behavioral health services for infants and children up to age 6 and their families
  • Complete comprehensive behavioral assessments
  • Build partnerships with parents, young children, and an interdisciplinary team to address relationship and behavioral challenges at early ages
  • Advocate with and on behalf of clients and their families
  • Contribute to a foundation for life-long social and emotional well-being for young children
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and clinical guidelines
