About The Position

The ECMC Temporary Administrative Assistant position is designed to provide essential technical, logistical, and administrative support to the management team of the Colorado Energy & Carbon Management Commission. This role involves managing meetings, travel logistics, and various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the department. The position is temporary, lasting up to 9 months, and requires a hybrid work model with onsite presence for certain events.

Responsibilities

  • Calendaring meetings including interviews and necessary external meetings
  • Planning and coordinating internal and external meetings on behalf of Managers
  • Preparing agendas and submitting Official Function approvals
  • Creating and distributing presentation materials
  • Communicating with staff and external stakeholders
  • Travel planning and coordinating logistics for Managers and staff
  • Purchasing conference registration and securing Out of State Travel Approvals
  • Making hotel reservations and working with hotel staff to arrange for payment
  • Purchasing flights and managing other travel logistics
  • Assisting with employment tasks and onboarding new employees
  • Ordering supplies for new employees and assisting with office management
  • Creating calendar events and assisting with calendar management for hotel offices/conference rooms
  • Assisting with meeting administration and running Zoom meetings
  • Gathering topics and preparing agendas for meetings
  • Assisting with logistics for off-site meetings including securing space and approvals
  • Preparing Travel Reimbursements for Managers, Supervisors, and staff
  • General clerical work that is time sensitive and scanning documents
  • Other duties as assigned

Benefits
