The Colorado Department of Natural Resources is seeking an Engineering Technician to join the Colorado Energy & Carbon Management Commission (ECMC). The mission of ECMC is to regulate the development and production of oil and gas, deep geothermal resources, the capture and sequestration of carbon, and the underground storage of natural gas while protecting public health, safety, welfare, the environment, and wildlife resources. The Engineering Technician will review and approve ECMC forms and supporting documentation submitted by operators for drilling completion reports and other downhole related operations, ensuring compliance with ECMC's Rules and Regulations. This position involves gathering and organizing data, notifying operators of non-compliance, and collecting information for complaint resolution. The role also includes processing engineering reports, enforcing compliance, and participating in special projects as needed.
