About The Position

Elite Staffing Network is seeking an Echosonographer in Henderson, NC. Responsibilities: - Perform diagnostic sonographic examinations using a variety of ultrasound equipment and techniques. - Obtain and record patient history, including relevant symptoms and medical information. - Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety. - Position patients and equipment to obtain optimal images for diagnostic purposes. - Analyze sonograms, synthesizing information from various sources to determine the appropriate course of action. - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret test results and provide accurate diagnoses. - Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures performed, patient information, and test results. - Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety. Qualifications: - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field. - Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent. - Proficiency in performing sonographic procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and musculoskeletal exams. - Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. - Ability to accurately interpret sonograms and identify abnormalities or potential areas of concern. - Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques such as cardiac catheterization and vital sign monitoring. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
  • Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in performing sonographic procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and musculoskeletal exams.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Ability to accurately interpret sonograms and identify abnormalities or potential areas of concern.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques such as cardiac catheterization and vital sign monitoring.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • BLS Certification (Required)
  • Ability to Relocate: Henderson, NC: Relocate before starting work (Required)
