About The Position

As an Echocardiology Technician joining our team, you're embracing a vital mission dedicated to making communities healthier. You will perform ECHO procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice, review patient history and physician's orders, and educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure their understanding and cooperation. You will also prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within your scope of practice, monitor patient conditions continually, and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate. Additionally, you will prepare equipment and supplies, select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters, implement safety standards, and perform quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshooting and resolving equipment malfunctions will also be part of your responsibilities.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree required.
• Current Echo Registry Echo certification registered or registry eligible within one year of employment or transfer into position.
• Certification: BLS.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Responsibilities
