Per Diem (PRN) Echocardiography Technologist
About The Position
Performs noninvasive cardiovascular studies by Doppler and ultrasound methods. Performs procedures done in the cardiology department. A sonographer who conducts a diagnostic exam with an echocardiogram test that uses sound waves to create live images of the heart. As an echo technologist, you measure cardiovascular health by viewing blood flow and valve movement with the echocardiogram. Requirements
- Six months experience in performing ECHOs.
- Maintains CPR certification and completion of the Basic Arrhythmia Course.
Nice To Haves
- Certification by The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers for Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographers, preferred.
