Diagnostic Imaging Centers of Texas (DICOT) and our family of affiliated brands, including Prime Diagnostic Imaging, Memorial MRI and Diagnostic, Desert Imaging, Foundation Physicians Group, and SignatureRx, are seeking an accountable professional Ultrasound Technologist who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care with integrity, accuracy, and compassion in a fast-paced outpatient clinic setting.
Requirements
- Current ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) certification
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of cardiac ultrasound, Doppler studies, and EKG operation
- Ability to analyze and interpret diagnostic information
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac ultrasound studies, including transthoracic echocardiograms and Doppler imaging
- Operate cardiac ultrasound equipment and associated monitoring systems
- Prepare and position patients appropriately for testing
- Maintain, test, and ensure proper functioning of cardiology equipment
- Follow radiation safety, infection control, and sanitation procedures
- Travel within the assigned service area when required
