How you’ll make an impact in this role Leverage your expertise to perform routine and complex diagnostic procedures that precisely assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics. You will ensure optimal imaging quality by expertly managing equipment, positioning patients, and recognizing significant pathology, artifacts, and equipment limitations for accurate assessment. Partner directly with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers to support patient examination and treatment. You will ensure operational integrity by strictly adhering to all regulatory standards, implementing safety and quality control procedures, and guaranteeing the prompt, high-quality submission of all images and accurate patient data to PACS. Take ownership of daily operational efficiency, including managing supply and inventory control (investigating and resolving any issues), maintaining a clean and orderly department, and proactively monitoring for and responding to potential security threats.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Sonography Tech specializing in Cardiac credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
